Around 1860, kept for today
Glen Wynne is a traditional Lakeland stone property dated from around 1860, on Broad Street in the heart of Windermere. Inside you will find en suite rooms, comfortable beds with luxury bedding, and the little touches guests mention again and again: spotless bathrooms, fluffy white towels, and fresh milk and biscuits on the tray.
Check-in is by door code, so you can arrive at your own pace. The team is at the end of the phone if you need anything, and happy to share local tips for walks, food and the lake.
